Terms of Use
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms apply to movingin.com and the requests you make through it. By using the site, you agree to them. MovingIn is from the team behind Compare Power.
What this site is
The site describes the MovingIn concierge service and lets you request a call, book a concierge for a move, or start a partner conversation. Submitting a form is a request, not a contract: a real person follows up, and nothing is set up until you tell your concierge to set it up.
The concierge service
Our concierge compares and sets up home services on your behalf with the providers you choose. The service is free to the people moving; service providers pay us when a setup completes. Your actual service agreements (your electricity plan, internet contract, insurance policy, and so on) are between you and those providers, on their terms and prices. We help you pick and set up; we are not the utility, the carrier, or the insurer.
Partner programs
Pages describing partner economics, including the calculators, use placeholder figures for planning, not offered rates. Revenue share, branding, and program terms are set exclusively in a written MovingIn partner agreement. Nothing on this site is an offer or a guarantee of results.
Using the site
Use the site and forms honestly and lawfully: submit your own information, don't probe or disrupt the service, and don't scrape or republish site content. The MovingIn and Compare Power names, logos, and site content belong to us; don't use them without written permission.
Third parties
The site links to and works with third-party providers. We are not responsible for their sites, services, or terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as is. We work hard to keep its content accurate but do not guarantee it is error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, MovingIn is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability related to the site is limited to one hundred dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Changes
If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top.
