MovingIn is a concierge service from the team behind Compare Power. This policy covers movingin.com and the information you share with us when you request a call, book a concierge, or partner with us. We keep it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

What you give us. When you submit a form, we collect what you type: your name, company, email, phone number, your industry, and for concierge bookings, your new address, move-in date, and the services you want set up. Every form includes a consent checkbox; we record that you checked it.

What we collect automatically. We use analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, buttons clicked, device and browser type, and how you arrived here. Our analytics includes session replay, which records how visitors interact with pages (scrolling, clicking); form fields are masked, so what you type is not captured in replays. We use cookies and similar technology for this, and our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.

How we use it

To respond to your request, schedule your call, set up the services you asked for, run and improve the site, and operate partner programs (including tracking which partner or page a request came from, so the right partner gets credit). If you checked the consent box, a real person from our team may call or text you about your request. We do not send marketing text messages.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with: the service providers who run our operations (website hosting, our CRM where requests are managed, and our analytics provider); the utility and home-service providers you ask us to set up on your behalf, to the extent needed to open or transfer your accounts; and the Compare Power team, since MovingIn and Compare Power are the same company. If a partner referred you, we may confirm to that partner that your request came in.

How long we keep it

We keep request records for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

Email support@movingin.comto ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can decline cookies in your browser; the site still works. If you asked us to call and change your mind, tell the person who calls or email us, and we stop.

Children

Our services are for adults handling a move. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle existing information get a clear notice here.
